Synopsis of Experience/Training: I received an honorable discharge as a Sergeant, with SECRET clearance. Skills include maintaining, repairing, and inspections of helicopters, including hydraulic equipment. Used hand, power, pneumatic, and other special tools in the performance of duties, including drill press, ground support equipment, and basic hand tools. I assigned and ensured the team had the proper skill set, and that work was delegated properly and safely. Maintained physical fitness, and an awareness of surroundings, while communicating with other work centers. Ensured completion of work by the team in a timely manner, and safely by all involved. Have experience in various databases, NALCOMIS (electronic logs and maintenance Databases) as well as Microsoft Office. I studied and trained at NAS Pensacola, MCAS New River, and MCAS Cherry Point on the Theory of Operations on hydraulic systems, and tools including rivet guns, drills, grinders, Pneumatic, Metalworking, tire and wheel inspection and removal/installation, Structural Mechanics. June 25, 2007 - June 24, 2012 – United States Marine Corps

• Secret Clearance

• Maintained and ensured repair and inspection of the CH-53E Super Stallion Helicopter. A cargo helicopter that held up to 55 p and capable of transporting external cargo weight of 36,000 lbs.

• Used various power tools, including hand, pneumatic and other special equipment.

• Managed a team with over 30 Marines and ensured proper repair/inspection steps were followed according to technical manuals specifications.

• Provided metalworking, corrosion control, and fiberglass/composite repairs for weight control of aircraft; Trained in collateral duty inspections, supervised, and inspected work to ensure proper steps according to technical manuals. Checked for leaks in hydraulic fittings, lines, and components to ensure no defects leading to failures. Checked to ensure components torque to specific tolerance levels; tires properly inflated, that area was clean, and tools properly stored.

• Received 6 awards during 5 years of service; promoted to Sergeant; honorably discharged.
