Truck Unloader

Capstone Logistics Plymouth, MN Feb 2019-Aug 2019 My daily tasks consisted of unloading trucks for US foods throughout the warehouse either on the dry side, the cooler, or the freezer docks using power pallet jacks. Each truck varied between the dry side, the cooler, or the freezer docks. After unloading a truck then we would break down the pallets of product and sort them to be placed accurately in order by P.O. slips explaining the quantity the specific order and height it should be placed and stacked onto other pallets that had their specific size small or large until complete. Then tape or wrap everything to secure the now organized stacked pallets to be forklift driven away and shelved. Then onto the next truck until their are no more. Then you would have to help someone if needed for at least 30 minutes & clock out. We were paid by every truck, and pay varied based upon each truck and typical workdays were 8-10 hr shifts. Handled packages in safe and meticulous manner while unloading and transporting. Order Selector

Supervalu Hopkins, MN Aug 2018-Dec 2018

My daily task consisted of me picking up to 200-300 items per order throughout the warehouse cooler and freezer using a vocollect headset and a power pallet jack. The headset would tell me the quantity and location of items I must pick, and a standard time that It had to be done. The pallet jack was used to ride up & down aisles neatly stacking items weighing up to & over 100 lbs repeatedly, meaning at 1 location having to stack more than 1 item onto pallets using the proper techniques & guidelines that was taught during training for this job until the order was complete. EDUCATION AND TRAINING

After every complete order we would then plastic wrap the various sized 1-2 pallets to then be staged at the accurate dock lane number recommended by the headset for loading. This was repeated throughout shift.
