- Conducted research on the development of a model to minimize cost and time for food banks and agencies during food delivery to food insecure households.
- Successfully created multiple models through collaboration with a team of professors across multiple schools.
- Developed a heuristic algorithm to efficiently arrive at the final solution for the multi-depot, multi-demand, multi-vehicle, and capacitated model.
- The in-progress model can optimize routing of vehicles to and from food insecure households and food banks, minimizing costs and travel time.

NC Supply Chain Intern May 2019 – August 2019
- Analyzed and improved the efficiency and uptime of the entire capacity of the warehouse through time studies, fishbone diagrams, Excel spreadsheets, and other programs.
- Collaborated with a diverse team of warehouse, production, and administration employees to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Created proposals for space optimization, resulting in an estimated savings of $21,000 per year in operating costs for the warehouse.
- Represented the NC Supply Chain Center at Domino’s HQ by presenting optimization solutions to senior management.
