Worked with Software and Hardware Engineering to interface Clinical Medical Linear Accelerators with IBM PS/2 Computers and peripherals (bar code readers, uniterruptible power supplies, Ink Jet printers, modems, monitors, fast streaming tape writers, and net works). Tested and troubleshot computers, interfaces, to component level. Installed Software, operating systems, and network software. Used MS Word, DbaseIII+, Access, Excel, & Lotus to write parts lists, test procedures, and wire lists. Coordinated with H/W, S/W, Q/A, Q/C, Engineering, Vendors, Field Engineers, & Manufacturing to get the RMS2000 and CCX tested, completed, documented, and shipped on time .

Rebuilt, prototype, troubleshot, tested, and calibrated HGS flight computers and test sets. Setup 727-200 simulator. Also setup, repaired and modified and tested IBM PC’s and clones, and Compaq Computers. Maintained facilities, which included: HVAC, nitrogen systems, cryogen’s, D.I./R.O. water, class 100 clean room, two 60KW Spectra Physics Lasers, vacuum systems, vacuum pumps, Thermotron temperature chambers, RFI Screen Room, 400HZ motor generator, machine shop, electrical, lighting, fans, exhaust hoods, pumps, plumbing, and hazardous materials and waste. Did purchasing of parts for electrical lab and photography of parts, tests, and projects. Made and installed and tested cabling for computer terminals, SEL Computer, Data Media Computer, VME, Flight Computers, and 727 aircraft and simulators. Installed a liquid nitrogen system to replace and save money on old nitrogen system. Ran computer batch jobs, reports, and file backups of SEL, & DATA MEDIA Computers. Made and fabricated parts in machine shop and wood shop.

Repaired, installed and moved latest film processors, Defibrillators, Heart Monitors, GC, X-ray, NMR, and Cat Scanners into a new hospital. Installed new vacuum system for building(lab & surgery) Also did troubleshooting on equipment in old hospital and did safety checking of all medical equipment. Worked in and out of surgery and recovery rooms and labs.

Prototyped, tested, and troubleshot to component level, high-speed array
processors for PDP, NOVA, and systems destined for C.A.T and N.M.R Scanners, NASA and other Government Systems. Tested and repaired up to 5000 amp switching power supplies and 500MB CDC hard disks. Evaluated new software diagnostics, new equipment, and new parts and wrote problem reports on engineering and manufacturing, assembly, and test problems.
