Got Employee of the Quarter award for successfully migrating the Enterprise Integration Application to its latest version of IBM ACE11 from IIB v9 Project Description:
AAS (AP AutoSort) 1.0 aims to provide a robust and optimal automated sort system for Central Asia Hub in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific Gateways at KIX as well as Nagoya. The current process of intensive manual sorting results in a high percentage of miss-sorts. The new auto sort system will introduce new Material Handling Equipment and associated IT systems and require changes to the current processes and some DHL core applications. The solution provided should be deployable in multiple locations with minimal customization. As there would be lots of information passing between the DHL core applications and AAS, a new component – DHL Message Gateway (DMG) is required to perform the filtering, transforming & routing of the data.it can control all 230 countries in World. Key Learning and skills developed during the course of this project:
Designing complex message flows and integrating with legacy Applications.
Developing common utilities for error handling and logging.
Done SSL configuration and implemented successfully.
Done Java programming able to filter unwanted characters non ASCII.
Developed complex shell scripts which will reprocess Messages automatically based on Error and sending alerts to team.

2. Fraud Detection System(December 2017 –
Till Date)
Project Location: DHL IT Services Asia Pacific, Cyberjaya
(Malaysia)
Role and responsibilities:
Team-Member
As a Admin for the FDS Application, my role is to analyse the external Fraud Data
Transform the data using the Python and defining new predictors in the model using the mathematical logistic regression.
Adding trade lanes to the production and understanding the behavior of the model and will helpful to detect more fraud patterns.
Project Description:
Aim of the Fraud Detection Service (FDS) is to minimize DHL Exposure to fraudulent account use and decrease the number of wrongly billed DHL customer accounts while reducing potential impact on the DHL Global brand and, preventing fraudulent shipments from proceeding through the DHL network incurring un-recoverable costs through Accounts Receivables (AR) write off. This document provides the business requirements to support proactive identification of global fraudulent shipments and link it to the candidate operation process (which is being refined and approved in parallel to this project). It will provide necessary guidance for the execution of the pilot phase.
One key assumption at this stage is that the processes, and to some extent the software solution, will be similar to the deployed denied party screening in the following areas:
• Both intend, by inspecting data, to detect an anomaly at shipment level as early as possible in the process ;
• Include the application of a series of business rules, in a software service, which ‘scores’ each record. A threshold (e.g. 90%) is used to qualify each transaction in or out ;
• Retention of the scoring of each record for audit purposes ;
• Have a basic work-flow process and portal that allows users to review the identified exemptions and qualify-in or out ;
Integrate with operational processes to arrest the shipment as early as possible in the flow. Key Learning and skills developed during the course of this project:
Understanding the Fraud Patterns across DHL express Countries
Doing analysis on the Big data using the mathematical models like Logistic Regression and defining the predictors to be included in the model.
Calculating the predictors using Python language and doing the transformation and regression on big data like 16 million messages.
Acting as FDS Administrator the GLOBAL Express Business for the analysis of Fraud shipments using machine learning
