Jeppesen Sanderson Inc – Quality Systems Intern June 2013 – August 2013
Responsible for improvement of the documentation system for the formal procedures and other proprietary documents.
Documentation system was initially scattered within the Jeppesen intranet and in some cases hard copy only. At the end of my internship a document registry system was developed so that documents could be filed, organized, and accessed entirely through the Jeppesen intranet. This system also ensured that only approved individuals could make changes to documents, and that those changes had to be approved by the proper managers before they would be published on the intranet.
Organized and ran virtual meetings with the marine business unit in Poland and organized and ran in person meetings with team members at the Rampart facility.
The system met ISO 9001 standards as well as Federal Aviation Administration and European Aviation Safety Agency standards and must be able to pass any future audits by those organizations. Additional Experience and Accomplishments
National Conference of Undergraduate Research (NCUR) – Design Project September 2013- April 2014 o Project to design and build a prototype for a life-test fixture that must ensure the lifespan of the electric motors that Karcher purchases will meet the companies warranty standards. o Designed the entire system utilizing a belt drive system to apply the proper torque load from the electromagnetic brake to the test motor. The system was designed to support two different belt drive systems that were interchangeable.
o Presented the details of the project and test results in front of a lecture hall of attendees at NCUR 2014
E-Sports Broadcast Commentator April 2016 – Present o Provided real-time analysis, play-by-play, and applicable statistics and details of E-Sports matches to deliver informative and exciting commentary to both online and in-person crowds. o Communicates complex game strategies, interactions, and situations in a manner that is easy to understand and exciting.
o Researched up-to-date strategies and notable competitors to be able to communicate the story-lines of the individuals as they progress through the tournaments. o Served on the event broadcast as a caster at large scale tournaments such as Combo Breaker, CEO, Redbull Rise 2018, and other large scale events with over 2000 attendees.
