I pull orders, prep them for loading, load trucks/ containers, my position is forklift operator. I drive a big diesel hyster, and I’m lead in my shipping warehouse. I keep my work area and equipment, clean and safe, and love working in a team environment.

Floor Installer

MDs floor covering - Bellingham, WA

November 2022 to January 2023

demo, and floor installation, I would strip tile, linoleum, carpet etc, floors, and prep to be glued, spread the glue with a hand trowel, let stand and lay plank, rubber, linoleum, hardwood, and after floor is finished we lay bass a long the edge of the wall. im a fast learner, great with my hands, I left for another job that payed better, but I left on good terms.

I started as assembly deck worker, and eventually made it to part time lead. assembling hardware on power line cross beams, and operating the plate machine, as well as pulling the the correct orders, and hardware. I worked just about every position there, but the assembly deck suited me better, as I was able to stay busy, and work at a good pace.

I was a forklift driver, and order puller, in the shipping and receiving cold storage warehouse, i organized the coolers, loaded and off loaded trucks, and train carts, and using a scanner, I would scan in, and scan out products, as they were coming in, and out. Every day, I would do a daily routine check of my equipment, and check off all that is good, and fix, or tell the supervisor of any problems with my equipment.
