I am an organized professional with over twenty years of healthcare experience. I was a practice manager for a cardiology practice with approximately 100 employees. I also spent two years working as a consultant gaining experience in setting up and growing a multiple specialty provider organization. For six years, I had the pleasure of working with a large local provider organization. Within this time, I spent two years managing the Hospital Medicine Department and served as Regional Revenue Cycle Manager. I am currently serving as Director of Operations with a large private clinic.

EXPERIENCE

Lexington Clinic

I currently serve as Operations Director for Cardiology, Hospital Medicine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry and Allergy. I oversee the operations and strategy of the practices. I am also responsible for the organization and administration of the clinics. I lead the departments in problem solving and development.

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) 2016-2022

I joined BHMG as Practice Manager of Hospital Medicine Group (HMG). Administrative leadership and development of oversight committees allowed the program to grow and have a sense of autonomy. Due to the success I had with BHMG I was promoted from Practice Manager to Regional Revenue Manager. In this position, I used data to assist 72 practices in improving their overall revenue cycle performance. Improving pre-appointment cycle, front office denials, and front office processes was the emphasis of the program.

Healthcare Strategy Group 2014-2016

As a consultant with Healthcare Strategy Group, I was involved in the planning and implementation of a multi-specialty physician group. I had direct communications with Providers and Practice Managers delivering concise information related to the improvement of the clinics.

Cardiology Associates of Kentucky (CAK); St. Joseph Cardiology

I began my career at CAK as a Central Billing Office Manager. Practice Manager position was soon offered. As Practice Manager, I was responsible for all operations of this 100 employee practice. A merger with CHI Kentucky ONE and CAK developed during my time as Practice Manager. As a result of the merger additional duties related to collaboration with the hospital became a part of my daily functions.
