Achievements
Pioneers of the sickle cell study in Kisumu County.
Increase in enrollments of sickle cell babies in the clinic and thus the crisis is less reported now

Coordinate day-to-day operations and ensure quality laboratory services are offered.
Arranging equipment replacement and servicing of the machines, and making sure repairs are done
Maintaining laboratory productivity by monitoring the workload
Ensuring quality results by participating in quality improvement activities, reviewing QCs and QAs
Establishing and reviewing Sops
Collection of viral load, EID, CD4, and sputum and packaging awaiting transportation.
Commodity management, accountability and reordering
Compiling and submitting monthly reports
Achievements:
Managed to improve the TAT for tests especially tests like VL and CD4 that would go to other labs and take months before patients could get their results back.
Was able to successfully run QCs on a daily which was not there before
