• Place balanced orders to maintain proper product levels while keeping back stock to a minimum. Use electric,gas, and manual pallet jack and forklift to unload trucks and stage in backroom and on sales floor to be stocked in order of need.
My store was recognized many times for lowest shrink and highest growth in gross profits also for being the only store in my district and one of only five in my region of close to 70 stores to go the entire 2018 fiscal year for safety with no employee or customer accidents or injuries. • Completing orders for the dry grocery and perishable and transmitting them to the warehouse by the specified time. Orders were done the keep the shelves stocked with minimal backstock while taking into account having extra onhand during holiday times.
• Making schedules for stock crew to cover incoming trucks getting worked to the floor in a timely manner.
• Building displays and merchandising new and sale items one a daily and weekly basis I also helped open several new stores in the upstate area starting with the company as a dept mgr and was promoted into new roles as a grocery mgr where I was selected as the "Employee of the Year" for my store then to Assistant Mgr to open a new store.
