I also meet monthly with the client manager and our client’s Clinical Billing manager to discuss any coding issues and education opportunities for physicians. A portion of our coding is outsourced to Omega Healthcare located in India. I act as a liaison and trainer between the two companies to resolve any issues that may arise in the processing of radiology charts.
I previously worked as coding supervisor (2004-2009), my Core duties as supervisor included, supervising radiology coders, anesthesia coders, and demographic processing of IDX encounters and charge entry personnel. My duties also included maintaining human resource records for my employees as well as keeping track of employees’ payroll including PTO hours available to the employee.
