OBJECTIVE:

A position in the Instrumentation and Control Engineering field, as Discipline Engineer especially one which require skills in the detail design and construction of oil handling facilities, Refineries, Power generation/ distribution plants and other commercial and heavy industrial facilities. A position in Project Management and in Start-up and commissioning will also be desirable.

URS Corporation –Houston Office February, 2015 to April 2015 Assigned at Blue Grass Chemical Agent Disposition Pilot Plant (BGCAPP) as Start-Up/ Systemization Engineer. Main responsibility includes resolving issues identified by Inspection (QA/QC) group before the system is accepted for Start-Up. Check Vendor drawings and design drawings and finding resolutions for the deficiency/conflict between what is installed and what is in the drawing.

URS Corporation –Houston Office Oct., 2013 to March, 2015 Was assigned as Field Instrument/Pre-commissioning Engineer at the Construction site for Oak Grove Gas Plant. Responsible in getting the information needed by the Construction Contractor. Resolve conflicts in drawings and provide recommendation to be implemented at site. Provide sketches and mark up the drawings. Issue field material requisitions for materials not specified during the design. URS Corporation –Houston Office June 2012 to October 2013 Was assigned as the Supervising Design Engineer (SDE) in the detailed design of a Gas Plant for Williams Mid Valley Midstream Facility in Oak grove. Duties include specifying all instrumentation devices including the DCS needs, field devices, control valves, relief valves, etc. Update schedules and distribute duties to other Engineers and designers. Coordinate activities with various disciplines and report on a weekly basis to the Project manager. Attend coordination meetings with the Client and Vendors. Responsible in ensuring smooth commissioning activities of the OSBL ( Outside Battery Limits Plants) Control Systems. OSBL includes Bending Areas, Tankage, Terminals, Interbattery Limit Plants, Raw Water and Fire Water Systems. Coordinate construction and commissioning activities with Construction Contractor, Design and Engineering Contractors, Client, Vendor and Vendor representatives, Third Party Inspedctors

( QA/QC) and Project Management personnel. Chair the weekly project progress meetings for the action items and schedules.

Project Engineer/Engineer 1

On assignment to Saudi Aramco Southern Area Project Department as Instrumentation Engineer during Construction. Assigned also as the Lead Commissioning Engineer during start-up.

Oversee the proper installation of all field instruments, DCS, ESD and VMS systems for the Sulfur Recovery Upgrade project,. Interface with the Construction Contractor, Porponent and different Equipment and System Vendors. Completed commissioning 2 of 10 units that need to be upgraded. Eight Units are in 2different phases of Construction and pre-commissioning.

Senior Control Systems Engineer

Was assigned as Sr. Control Systems Engineer during the detailed design phase of Edwardsport Power Plant project. This project is converting coal to clean gas before being used to combustion gas turbine and waste gas to conventional steam power plant with waste heat boiler and steam turbines. .

Responsible for the daily design activities. Coordinates with Proponent, Specialist Group, Design Contractors to ensure that milestones are achieved, budget is maintained and quality of the design is not sacrificed. Conducts meeting with all concerned parties to resolve issues. Reports to the Project Manager on a weekly basis, the status of the project and problems/resolutions.

Cost: US Dollar 300 Million

Scope of the project : Upgrade the existing Sulfur Recovery Units (total of 10 Units) from 95% sulfur recovery to 98.7% recovery using the Superclaus technology. B. LEAD INSTRUMENT DESIGN ENGINEER- May 1990- June 2005 1. As Lead Engineer, was administratively responsible to about 6 Engineers, 8 designers and 5 draftsmen. Distributed work load and ensure smooth coordination between different disciplines in the implementation of the design request/engineering work orders.

2. As Refinery Project Coordinator, was the single point contact between the Design Services Division and RT Refinery Engineering Group. Responsible in reporting the status of the different projects of one single proponent. There are about 60-70 projects at any given time. Projects ranges from 300 man hours conceptual design to about 30,000 man hours revamp and upgrade project. 3. As Design Engineer and Engineer In Charge, had completed approximately 170 different design projects from conceptual to detail design. Project ranges from 300 Manhours conceptual design to 30,000 manhours debottlenecking detail design multi discipline project.

PARSONS CORPORATION/SIP ENGINEERING March 1986- May 1990 Houston, Texas

Senior Process Control Engineer- April 1988 to May 1990 Assigned as Senior Process Control Engineer on various Shell Oil Co. Refinery projects from detailed design to construction and commissioning. Projects include Phenol Project, ACU-BEU Facilities, Dehydrator and Waste Water Treatment Plant. Specify field devices, generate loop drawings, review P&IDs and interconnection diagrams. Configure TDC-3000 additional points.

Was assigned as Lead Instrument Engineer of Project Management Team in the design and construction of Oil fired power plant in Aqaba, Jordan for Jordan Electricity Authority. Train Local Engineers in the design of power plant with emphasis in the Instrumentation and Control.
