The responsibilities of a team member included the following: interacting with customers,
communicating with other team members, being efficient in service, and making sure everything
was correct. I was one of the workers who had been at the store the longest and was
experienced in every position of the store. I also trained other employees on positions they were
not yet trained for. I was then promoted to shift manager when I turned eighteen.

The responsibilities of a shift manager are to oversee the team currently in the store. My job was
to make sure we met our times, ensure customer satisfaction, and to assist the other people in
the store. While I worked there, my shifts would reach second and third in our district, directly
behind a much larger, higher staffed store. I adequately counted the money deposited into our
safe at the end of the night and was one of the two experienced night managers in the store. I
