Designed the IT department program for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce which included up to 60 users and 30 plus vendors.
Lead the Charlotte Chamber’s Technology Planning Committee execute one, three, and five year technology plans for the agency.
Created WISP and a physical security plan and protocols to address and maintain the safety of data and the staff, including cyber security policies and training.
Established and facilitated a video department at the Charlotte Chamber which created content including videos, podcasts, and live events in-house.
Migrated CRM platform several times and working on migration planning to Salesforce.
Recommended and responsible for migration of IT systems and servers to cloud based programs, which reduced the budget and increased flexibility in IT infrastructure for a 10% decrease in the total IT budget.
Executed logistics of merger with the Charlotte Regional Partnership. Coordinated the physical move and merged all systems and users into one functional agency.
Architected and implemented of all information systems during the renovation of the Charlotte Business Alliance’s space. Managed and maintained communication with the construction team, including daily inspections and progress updates for the renovation.
Designed and implemented the agency’s COVID-19 technology needs response to ensure the highest level of employee support during the crisis. Engaged with staff and deployed to areas of greatest need and impact. Launched key initiatives for moving to a work-from-home model.
Implemented Staff training programs that have includes cyber security, HR compliance, Azure Hybrid Directory, MS365, MS Exchange, MS Teams, AvidXchange and MS Dynamics
Planned and implementation of IT hardware and systems that includes servers, workstations, network infrastructure, software, mobile devices, copiers, printers, and fax/phone systems. Negotiate contracts and purchases, set IT goals of the organization, design of the systems, administration of daily IT issues and procedures, and help desk tickets.
Develop, track, and manage the development of annual operating and capital budget of $600,000 for technology purchases, expenses, and operations in collaboration with the CFO.
Established and maintain Disaster recovery plan for all systems. This includes backups and redundancies for all systems and preparation for repairs and maintenance for potential issues.
Managed security for all systems including network security, physical and electronic surveillance. Establish and maintain IT and building policies that facilitates staff procedures and policies to assure appropriate security, connectivity, and interoperability of the organizational operations.
Managed multiple PBX systems with final migration to Zoom phone for annual savings on phone budget of 50%.
