Lead/Manager of Software Development for the Data Innovations Grifols Blood Screening Team.
·Fulfilled the same leadership role as described above in recent experiences with emphasis on progress demonstration and contractual commitments to Grifols (Panther ART Medical Analyzer Instrument Vendor) assigned by the executives. The project was 2 years in contract and had failed twice by the prior team losing the clients confidence. Selected by the development executive leader of the department and assumed this new role as team leader. Lead the reset of the team, establish a new architecture and project plan that met the clients needs and expectations saving the 10 million dollar contract. The project delivered 5 drops in 2 years deploying early to the clients delight.
·Responsible for leading a team of 24 globally assigned software development engineers at all levels through the software development lifecycle of a new web-based application in support of nucleic acid testing of blood donations integrated in a new blood screening laboratory environment interfacing with analyzers, incubators, poolers, and tracking instruments.
·In this capacity, I also operated as the Validation leader responsible for ensuring quality first that included the operational readiness, beta and user acceptance testing and the risk management needs of the contract.

Principal software engineer and developer for the Laboratory Specimen Collect product and the Blood Bank Transfusion product.
·Founded, designed, and engineered the Clinical Collect application. Deployed on Windows, Citrix, iOS, and Android. The application is used to process specimen collections in clinical nursing and laboratory phlebotomy environments. This addition to the Sunquest Portfolio generated on average 10 million annually for 16 years.
·Founded, designed, and engineered the Blood Transfuse application. Deployed on Windows and Citrix. It is used to process blood unit transfusions in clinical nursing environments. The product received a 510k FDA certification and generated on average a million dollars annually for 10 years.
·Responsible for mentoring, providing guidelines, and training other engineers on the project releases.
·Responsible to supervise and oversee the technical aspects of the project releases; including the maintenance and update of all existing software applications. Responsible for recommending adjustments to resolve software issues, improving the functionality and performance of software release ensuring that the design and execution of the software meets quality standards.
