I work with a team of programmers writing an inventory application using bar code readers, a warehousing application and a point of sale application. They are written in Java using Netbeans IDE. As a Sr QA Engineer I test the applications. I write up the test plans and test cases to use in testing the three types of applications we sell. I use Selenium and Katalon and Java to automate testing. I worked on our API for our programs and for other developers to use.
I also worked on a special project for the company. I wrote an application that was the software that would drive a vending machine. It allowed a user to pick the items they desired in the vending machine through a touch screen. Then it controlled the delivery of the items. It was written in JavaFX.
I work remotely at this job so I have a lot of experience working from home.
