Started working for Amazon January 2nd, 2023. Description of my employment is FC Associate 1, L1. I am what they call a “stower,” working 10 hour shifts, moving product from totes to pods as they are brought to my work area. Am still working for Amazon.

Showboat Autoparts

Lowell, Mi. 49331 (this business is now closed and out of business.) I was employed by Showboat auto-parts from June of 2017 until October of 2019. My regular job was delivering car parts to local vendors. The store closed permanently in 2020.

J-Ad Graphics

Hastings, Mi. 49058

Employed as an independent contractor from 2017 until February of 2021 assembling and delivering news papers. My wife and I delivered around 700 papers every Saturday morning after retrieving the ads on the prior Thursday and assembling the ads inside all those papers Saturday morning before we began delivery. Delivery usually took approximately 6 hours pending weather conditions. We ended this work when we thought our finances permitted us to do so.

Kellogg Corporation

3750 Roger B Chaffee Blvd SE, Grand Rapids, Mi. 49548 Employed from April of 2012 until February of 2015. I was employed as a wrapper machine operator, cleanup crew and resupply person. I left in good standing due to health issues which I was experiencing at that time. United Solar Ovonics

Greenville, Mi. 48838

Employed as a machine line operator and hilo driver by United Solar Ovonics from April of 2008 until their closure in February of 2012. I was normally assigned to a cell producing line that contain approximately 18 different machine processes in each of those lines that I was responsible for maintaining their proper production specs. I was also assigned at times to solar cell quality inspection, driving hilo, crane operation and the cleaning of lines and production areas. United Solar Ovonics closed and filed for bankruptcy in the spring of 2012. Manpower Inc.

Worked thru this company for Amway Corporation from the fall of 2005 until 2007. I was only allowed to work two years at Amway due to company policy according to Manpower Inc. Was then assigned various employment by Manpower at different companies and addresses until I went to work for United Solar in 2008.

State of Michigan / Department of Corrections

Took employment with the state of Michigan in January of 1976 at the Muskegon Correctional Facility as an officer working in various assignments but mostly in the correctional housing units, each housing approximately 120 prisoners at that time. In 1978 I transferred to the Riverside Correctional Facility in Ionia Michigan as a housing unit officer and remained at RCF until 1985 when I transferred to the Ionia Temporary Facility as Sergeant and charged with supervising approximately 6 officers and 10 prisoners when assigned to the yard sergeant position. When assigned to a housing unit I was charged with maintaining order of about 120 prisoners and a staff of 3 officers. In 1987 I transferred to the Ionia Maximum Facility as a housing unit Supervisor (Sergeant) and was normally assigned to either supervising 2 maximum security housing units each with a staff of 6 officers and approximately 80 plus prisoners. In 2004 I retired from the State of Michigan / Department of Corrections with 29 years of service.

I am married to my wife Darlene, I have 5 children and many many grandchildren. I enjoy camping trips, bowling and golfing.
