I just earned an Associate degree in Medical Coding. I have been working in production for 15 years, mostly in medical manufacturing facilities. I have a wide range of work experience and education. Spectralytics is a medical manufacturing facility. I ran lasers on the stent floor and cleaned parts.. I also worked in the clean rooms inspecting parts. I am chemical certified. Spectralytics is an OSHA approved facility.

Manufacturing Technician

Tech Etch - Hutchinson, MN

2017 to 2018

I worked in almost every area of Tech Etch. It is a metal etching facility which manufactures parts for a variety of industries including medical, automotive, and aerospace. I worked in the cleanroom, resist room, developing, and printing.

CNC Laser Operator

I operated Laser CNCs to make medical cleanroom parts, measure, inspect, clean per customer tolerances. I was involved in R & D projects with engineers which I enjoyed; I cannot explain further due to privacy rules.

Inspection

IRD Glass - Litchfield, MN

2014

I inspected tiny glass pressure sensor tubes under a microscope. These tubes are used in aircraft navigation systems. I also measured them using a micrometer, then packaged and shipped the products. We also manufactured products for the U.S. military. I operated a glass saw, which required extra training. During my employment our area received the Supplier of the Year award from Honeywell. This award is for accuracy and speed of orders.

This was my FAVORITE job because I got to do something good for my community while having fun at the same time. I volunteered at Threads of Hope after they ran out of funding and could no longer pay me.

Education

I graduated with a Medical Coding degree from Ridgewater College in December 2022. I enjoy the challenge.
