I was an assistant within a year and a half of starting and stayed in that position for about 5 years until I decided to move up to operator

I do press make ready, operate and maintain the web offset printing press and install plates and blankets on press cylinders

When needed, I remove or replace worn rollers and adjust the pressure between rollers of the press I wash blankets, clean ink, ink distributing rollers and ink fountains, and whatever necessary adjustments or corrections to the color register and press before and during run to maintain quality of the work.
