Performing Forecast analysis and look for opportunities to improve expenses and look for lower costs.

E&O analysis to avoid any risk on our inventory along with Materials Manager as well Operations Manager.

AP renew and stablish better control on aging report and payment terms to do not fall into a risk with suppliers and jeopardize delivery of material affecting production.

Finance Manager

Responsible for Accounting for US & Mexican books mainly under the following duties:

General accounting. - Month end closing, BS accounts reconciliations and analysis. Consolidation and reporting about US & Mexican books for Japan Headquarters.

Inventory. - Analysis on material and absorption cost (DL & OVH); Standard cost control to review BOM on a regular basis all standard costs are on place in order to have an inventory revaluation accurate. Also Reconciliation of perpetual Vs GL. Identify material cost Vs sales in order to compare with Budget.

Accounts Payable. – Three way match process (invoice reception, matching vs. material receipts, cost verification on the PO), payment and forecast analysis.

Accounts Receivable. - Process for all invoices paid by customers; monitoring aging report to avoid overdue payments; Close communication with Sales department to get the accurate and updated information related to sales prices and/or customers’ accounts.

Auditors. - close communication in order to understand risk (If any); in charge of internal auditors and comply with requirements in financials figures (reconciliations, statements, treasury, etc.)

Team up with Purchasing department, Engineering and HR. Achievements:

Improve and achieve a cost reduction on premium freight from 550KUSD to less than 80KUSD (more than 80%); Improvement on cost reduction on material supplies and other along with purchasing and production areas. Closing month end process was improved from 7 to 3-4 days; leading a team to get support to understand MRP system to improve the processes and get accurate figures including areas such as Purchasing, Logistics, and Engineering related to BOM, costs, PO’s and inventory control.
