I began my studies as a Physical Therapist Assistant in January 2012. Being a single mother and sole provider, I anticipated starting school for six years; after my daughter graduated high school. With prayer and hard work I am proud to state I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
My journey began in 2005 while watching a T.V. program regarding disabled veterans and the hardships they endured. The joy and confidence that therapy provided through their progress was overwhelming. Instantly, I knew I wanted to be part of helping people achieve fulfillment and happiness through therapy.
I am also a Master Esthetician, completing my studies in 2000 at The American Spirit Institute in Williamsburg VA. Training with instructors from England and Spain, I developed a European technique and a holistic approach to esthetics. While furthering my education, I attended classes in Chinese Face Mapping, Touch Therapy, Breath Work and massage.
Working for several years at popular spas in Hampton Roads perfected my facial, waxing, and body treatment skills. I had the pleasure of working with a prominent dermatologist and plastic surgeon, furthering my knowledge through hands-on experience with advanced anti-aging and extreme skin care concerns. I also have experience in research; performing several treatments on research patients.
Reading, cooking, kayaking, roller blading, and weight training are a few of my interest.
Thank you for your Consideration,
Juanita W. Williams
