Lafayette Sheriff's Office and patrol officers for the cities of Broussard, Carencro, Duson, Scott, and

Youngsville. Maintain records of missing persons,

wanted persons, and stolen property reported

throughout Lafayette Parish as well as entering into computer database. Also research and provide

officers with background checks on possible

persons of interest as officers respond to calls for service using law enforcement databases as well as various forms of social media. Also required to
