Streine Machine:

Put flat sheet aluminum into back of machine, automated feed to front of machine which sheared sides of sheets to size and exited to operator in front, sheared ends to proper size, sent out by conveyor belts to stacking machine. Operators (2 on each machine) responsible for setting up machines to proper size, using a tape measure and squaring up sheet, ensure quality of each sheet visually and using a micrometer to check for thickness, adjusted stacker for finished sheets, disposed of scrap metal for recycling, etc.

CPL-SPL:

Searched for proper coil of aluminum in warehouse and brought it back using 20 ton forklift, set it on the back of machine using overhead crane, splices coil ends together, set slitter to proper width, keeps rolls clean using compressed air, set up "galloping sheer" for proper sizing of flat sheet or set up recoil for coiled metal, adjust tension for stretching metal on the run, inspects quality of metal and checks gauge using micrometer, removes flat sheet using flatbed truck or overhead crane for coiled metal and stacks on pallet, wraps metal with plastic film machine, etc.
