Storage Engineer(2019-present DISA) - Responsibilities include Mainframe review of projects and determining any Storage requirements needed. Review of monthly reports for Capacity requirements. Determine HPE XP7/8 Storage mainframe needs for future consideration. Sr. Project Coordinator(2018-2019 Compucom Inc) - Responsibilities included inventory control of all Target store locations. Ordering of any needed equipment for New store, Remodels and Bundles stores. Call/Coordinate all Store locations with Technicians so that Stores know we are installing necessary equipment. Sr. Solution Delivery Consultant (2015-2017 VION Corp) – Responsibilities included installation of IBM Data Analytics software(BigInsights) on Linux Redhat environment. This requires a minimal of 9 physical servers which need to have Redhat OS installed. Installation of Netapp hardware and software for FAS8200 in multiple DOD sites. Accomplishments for 2015 - 2017 included:

● Installation of IBM Biginsights in Dev, Prod, UAT and DRS environments for Client.

● Upgrade of IBM Biginsights software in multiple client environments.

● Installation of Redhat OS 6.8, 7.2 and 7.3 across multiple servers using kickstart process.

● Installation of Netapp FAS8200 hardware and On-command software across multiple DOD sites.

Systems Engineer (2011-2015 VION Corp) – Worked specifically as consultant for DISA(Deparment of Information Systems Agency) from 2011-2015. Responsible for all Hitachi software and hardware which included AMS, USP and VSP storage devices on both Open Systems and Mainframe. Also supported the VTL(EMC Data Domain) for the mainframe environment.

Accomplishments for 2011 - 2015 included:

● Migration of all Hitachi USP’s to VSP’s using truecopy.

● Upgrade/Installation of Hitachi Hi-Command suite.

● Support IBM Mainframe VTL environment(Luminex) which included SUN servers and EMC Data Domain hardware.

● Upgrade of Netapp OnTap 7-mode environment from 7 to 8.

● Support of USPTO(US Patent Trade) environment which consisted of EMC VMAX’s and Clariion’s.

Storage Systems Engineer (2003-2011 Firstdata Corp) -Promoted to Storage Systems Engineer with additional responsibilities for architecting of open systems storage environment. Continued to perform duties of Senior Storage Administrator detailed below. Duties included allocation, maintenance, conversion and evaluation of all Open System platforms for First Data Corporation's Storage environment. Evaluates and testsnew Open Systems Storage platforms which include EMC, Hitachi and IBM devices. Accomplishments for 2008 - 2011 included:

● Replication/Migration of Celerra NAS from Houston to Chandler Datacenter.

● Installation of eight EMC Celerra NS120 devices in remote offices.

● Completed Proof of Concept and installation of IBM XIV Storage technology into environment.

● Completed Proof of Concept on Virtual Instruments Software/ Hardware technology for SAN performance monitoring.

● Installed Storage Management Capacity Reporting tool (SANscreen) for trending analysis.

● Converted Houston File Server configuration to an EMC Celerra NAS infrastructure. Setup replication of data to Core site.

● Implemented NAS strategy for eight Remitco offices in less than four months using Celerra NAS technology. Created turnover documentation for Distributed Storage team.

● Created Monthly performance charts on all TLI EMC DMX-4 for growth purposes using EMC WorkLoad Analyzer (WLA).

● Migration of EMC DMX-2000/DMX-3 onto DMX-4 frames for consolidation purposes.

Upgrade of McData ED140 directors onto Brocade DCX technology.

Accomplishments for 2004 - 2007 included:

● Migration of EMC CX700 to an EMC DMX-3

● Testing of HDS TrueCopy between HDS USP600's from Hagerstown to Denver. Use of CNT (Channel Extension equipment).

● Completed Proof of Concept on Onaro SANscreen and IBM SVC tools. This is SAN monitoring software and SAN Virtualization software.

● Designed and implemented the Open Systems SAN (Storage Area Network ). This included McData directors, EMC DMX2000, Clarion CX700 subsystems and HDS USP100.

● Migrated our entire Valuelink Gift Card application from HDS 9960's to USP600's. This was done using the HDS TrueCopy ShadowImage Software.

● Designed and implemented IBM FAStT SANs at different FDC locations including: Dublin, Ireland and Omaha, NE. Senior Storage Administrator (July 2002-2003 Firstdata Corp) -Responsible for allocation and maintenance of all Storage connected to Open Systems platforms. Accomplishment for 2003:

● Evaluation of SRM Tools from EMC, Fujitsu and StorageTek.

● Installation of Athene Capacity Reporting tool for Open System environment.

● Evaluation process for a SAN solution from three major vendors (EMC, IBM and Hitachi).

UNIX System Administrator (Aug . 1997 -July 2002 Sweetheart Cup Company) - Responsible for maintenance and upgrades to all HP 9000 servers for the company . Provided technicalsupport to operations and applications. Sr. MVS Systems Programmer (Aug. 1997-Aug. 1999 Sweetheart Cup Company) - Performed IBM & OEM software product maintenance and upgrades. Provided technical support to Operations, Applications and other end-users. Evaluated and provided recommendations on new system software products.
