Python 3 Development of Applications to track TCP/UDP traffic with Pyshark/Wireshark and Scapy to detect Packet Timeouts, Checksum and Status errors using Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio IDE platforms.

Developed Raspberry Pi 2B, Arduino Mega and Adafruit Huzzah32 temperature sensor system using Raspbian, Arduino IDE, TKinter GUI, MatPlotLib and FreeRTOS.

Owner/Senior Engineering Consultant responsible for business development, project management and software development. Responsibilities include developing new business opportunities, development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Program Sets (TPS), and management of an internal staff of test engineers. The following tasks are/were performed for ITS:

Conducted on site training courses in the use of ITS BEST TEST software, D300 Hardware Modeler and Teradyne’s LASAR simulation environment for Lockheed Martin Orlando, United States Postal Service Wichita Kansas, Redstone Arsenal Alabama and United States Navy in Jacksonville, Florida.

BEST TEST: Behavioral Stimulus test creates Microcontroller/processor Multitasking environment for Control execution, Serial Interface control, interrupt handling and error conditions creating a Real Time Operating System (RTOS) simulation environment.

Responsible for development of ATE test programs for Raytheon Louisville, Telephonics Corp, Lockheed Martin, USPS, Warner Robins ALC, Teradyne, BAE, Tinker AFB, Northrup Grumman, General Dynamics, Boeing, ITT, Hughes and Honeywell.

Test station expertise with Airforce VDATS, Navy CASS and CCATS, Army IFTE and GETS, and Teradyne Spectrum and High Speed Sub Test Stations.

Developed custom integrated circuit boards with Xilinx, Altera, Lattice and Actel PLDs and FPGAs.

Developed translation utilities in C language for several customers including a VHDL to LASAR structural model translator.

Developed hardware models for D300 LASAR simulations. ITS in process of developing a replacement system for the D300 Hardware Modeler under the Air Force SBIR program.

Prime Contractor government programs/equipment supported include B2, Longbow Hellfire Missile, Phalanx Missile Defense, B2, FA18 and FA50 aircraft and MH-60 Helicopter.

Non military platforms supported include Texas Instruments Digital Micromirror Device (DMD), Washington Metro Area Transit Authority Electronics and USPS Siemens Mail Sorter.

Raytheon Submarine Signal Division June 1987 to June 1993

Senior Engineer responsible for improving the functional test development process at Raytheon in order to cut costs for internal customer test programs and improve competitive position for external customer test programs. The following projects were performed.

Developed utilities to improve L200 ATE Fault Dictionary diagnostics which have been integrated into Teradyne’s L200 VX Run Time Software.

Convinced Raytheon’s Submarine Signal Division engineering manager to approve the purchase of ITS BEST TEST software to reduce test program development cost.

Lead engineer for Rockwell Test Program development including fixture design/documentation and integrating ITS BEST TEST software into process.

Delivered Teradyne User’s Group presentations to an audience of over 200 test engineers and received best paper award.

Participated in Platform Initiatives work group to develop the future computing environment for Raytheon.

Completed Master’s program in Electrical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island under Raytheon’s continuing education program.
