Dear Human Resource Consultant,

Please accept my resume for your thoughtful review. I first started working on an in- patient medical-surgical adult acute care unit. Then I trained for emergency, obstetrics, long term care as well as ICU. As a float I worked in many departments. Altogether I have 7 years acute care experience, mainly in the Emergency Unit. I have been working in Long term care at Chancellor Park as an RN from Nov 2022 through to January 2023. I moved to Miramachi and started work at Horizon here in the ER dept. I have decided to move to Fredericton as the housing options are more in line with what I need. I have worked and trained in many specialty areas working with various groups of people, including employees and clients from child to adult and seniors. My experience ranges widely from; advanced cardiac resuscitation, IV initiation and transfusions, basic wound care to advanced wound care with vacutainers, care of ostomys, port- a-cath access and de-access as well as care of CVAD and PVAD, foley insertion and removal, foley irrigation and continuous bladder irrigation, tracheostomy care, immunizations, teaching clients about diabetes and how to check glucometers and administer insulin, post surgical care, wound care and at home administration of various injections ie. Lovenox. Care of palliative clients including insertion and care of subcutaneous butterflies and medication administration, as well as prepartum, peripartum and postpartum care of women. Most importantly I feel I have an ability to communicate and relate with clients and their families in a holistic and caring manner which entails providing a listening ear, validating their concerns and helping clients and families feel heard and seen and to me that is of utmost importance when it comes to a person(s) healthcare. Thank you kindly,

Nicole Bussey
