Level II (NDT) Nondestructive Testing Inspector, performing daily process control for Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Testing. Type l methods A (Water Washable) D (Hydrophilic) B (Lipophilic) at Howmet Aerospace Systems.Torrance, California. Duties consist of processing and inspecting aerospace parts for defects or discontinuities using military and customer specification criteria. Writing rejection reports and sending parts with indications to the metallurgical lab for evaluation to determine if they are acceptable or rejected. Other duties consist of hardness and eddy current conductivity testing.

Duties: Set-up various types of machines for secondary operations for Incline tapper, punch press, drill press and Brown & Sharp. Checked parts in between operation with calipers, micrometers, depth mics to assure it meets blueprint requirements.
