Provided a suburban community with a true local, live, and focused radio station. Successfully branded “North
Jersey 1500 GHT”. Accu-Track ratings showed a 40% increase in listener brand loyalty and significant gains in
females 35+ both in cumes and P1. Launched “The North Jersey NewsCenter”, replacing “rip and read” with field
reporters. Noted by the Associated Press for staying on the air for 34-hour non-stop coverage of Hurricane Floyd.
WIYC-FM, St. Thomas, VI 1992 Operations Manager, Morning Jock. Flipped a 50,000-watt station serving the
eastern Caribbean and San Juan from country to hot A/C, which quickly became the FM leader in the Virgin Islands.
