Objective
Electrical Maintenance Technician
Experience April 2021 – January 2023 Meta Gallatin, TN Critical Facility Engineer
Unfortunately, I was part of the lay-offs that occurred November 8th 2022, that being said, here is a brief description of what I did as a CFE. Job included keeping all electrical and cooling system up and running. The electrical system included the 161kv to 480vac power path to the data center and all associated switch boards, ATS, distribution panels. The cooling system consisted of water purification, chemical injection and distribution pumps and the fans both intake and exhaust fans. We monitored the entire data center via SCADA and are able to make adjustments and monitor the entire buildings. We also worked with outside contractors and performed LOTO prior to any work being done. Also included in our daily job was writing SOPs, MOPs and EOPs and reviewing CMOPs prior to contractors coming in the facility to do work. I also was the LOTO and Calibrations “champion” for GTN, which included ordering LOTO equipment, PPE and keeping our test equipment certified. I was laid off, November 8. 2022 as part of Meta's cost cutting.

Job includes watching production line, inspection of product and correcting any faults or quality issues. Main focus is electrical repairs and troubleshooting of robotics involved in the assembly of frame assemblies for GM Spring Hill plant. Work with Fanuc robots in the welding of parts, doing the electrical installation of equipment and working with Controls Engineer in making any changes to HMIs and PLCs. Was laid-off in Apri 2020 after the Eastgate plant was hit by the tornado in March 2020. Landlord evicted L&W and the plant was moved to Michigan August 2017 – August 2018 ITW-CIP Gallatin, TN
Maintenance Technician
Position is more general maintenance with a focus on the electrical side being a stronger focus. Working with engineering staff on PLCs, HMIs and equipment installation. Also doing day to day troubleshooting on the stamping equipment and the heat treat equipment. Again, getting parts lists compiled for installations of new equipment. Left company after seeing there was little to no chance of getting off 3rd shift.
January 2016 – August 2017 Nestle Waters Red Boiling Springs, TN Position PLC Technician
Position requires not only plc troubleshooting, but numerous other maintenance work, including mechanical repairs to the equipment from the pumps that supply the spring water to the treatment of said water. It also includes working on the injection machines, blow molds and filling, capping and labeling machines. I also work on the facility equipment such as the high pressure air compressors, and chiller. Work with outside contractors is also involved as is working with IT personnel in keeping the internal lan system running. Left because of the distance from home and being cut back to a 32 hour work week. Also new job was much closer to home and not an hour away. 1980-2015 R.R. Donnelley Gallatin, TN
