Summary
I am a consummate professional and an adaptive person. My wide array of skills is reflective of my ability to quickly assess a situation and do what is necessary. New challenges do not intimidate me and quite frankly, those are what I am seeking.
Initially, I became a paralegal because of my strong interest in our legal system and the protections it offers. At different points, I briefly stepped away from the profession to assist my husband in running his former business, run my own former small childcare business, and to provide home healthcare for various family members.
My experience spans the following:
Manage cases until disposition including initial file setup, procuring previously docketed Pleadings, Motions, Orders, procuring all prior discovery, deposition transcripts, procuring all available medical records, bills, and diagnostic studies.
Manage client litigation case file.
Draft discovery including Answers to Interrogatories, Interrogatories to be propounded upon adversary, Request for Admissions, Answers to Request for Admissions, Answers to Request for the Production of Documents, Request for the Production of Documents to be propounded upon adversary.
Draft simple and complex Pleadings, Motions, and Memorandum of Law; Cite Check experience.
Draft Subpoenas and Notices of Depositions; schedule depositions.
Create deposition, expert report, and medical records digests, detailed case and medical record summaries, privilege and document production logs, and deposition and trial exhibit lists.
Attend document reviews, the Philadelphia Asbestos Call of the List, and miscellaneous hearings.
Coordinate document productions; extensive E-Filing and PACER experience.
Legal research expertise.
Interface with clients, witnesses, outside counsel, Courts, experts, and corporate representatives.
