of students on the 2021 ELA Florida Standard Assessment.

Seminole County Juvenile Justice Detention Center (JJDC), Sanford, FL

• Lead weekly creative writing classes for juvenile inmates present in the Seminole County JJDC.

• Met challenges of developing an engaging curriculum for a class with both a high turnover rate and long term inmates.

• Printed professional quality magazine of compiled creative work which was distributed back to inmates.
