TASKS PERFORMED.
Assisted in community sensitization programmes on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence and Child Marriage in deprived communities to increase awareness among the rural populace on acts of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence and Child Marriage cases.
Carried out child protection sensitization programmes in the Wa Municipality to promote and protect the rights of the child, child survival and development to eliminate child abuse and child labour.
Assisted in organising community development programmes among the disadvantaged, vulnerable and excluded through the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty Programme (LEAP) to improve and enrich rural life.
Engaged rural communities on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) issues through a collaborated effort with UNICEF to provide the best possible means by which communities use and manage water, sanitation and hygiene in a sustainable manner, preventing open defecation and the outbreak of diseases.
