¢ Knowledge of using patient identifiers of name, date of birth and source of specimens to label

specimens and distribute to correct department for testing ( blood and cultures)

¢ Knowledge of preparing specimens for testing

¢ Handling specimens like bacteria cultures or blood samples and verifying accuracy of client and

specimen details.
