Network Engineer

AMC Networks - Bethpage, NY - May 2015 to present

Provide IT network project management and support including the analysis of project requirements,

design, scheduling and completion of assigned tasks:

Design and build new network infrastructure for our Maryland and Woodland Hills, CA remote site

office with the following technologies: Palo Alto 3220 Active/Passive firewalls and stacked Cisco

9300-UXM core and DMZ switches that connects to SDWAN infrastructure.

Worked with Verizon to build, configure and implement AMC Network -SDWAN infrastructure.

Worked with Palo Alto to migrate all our existing Cisco ASA perimeter firewalls to Palo Alto firewalls.

Design, build and implementation of Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC-5520 HA pair) for our

Santa Monica and NY offices utilizing the following Cisco AP models: 3650, 3602i, 2802i,

1832.

Design and build all distribution/access layer Cisco 4500 series switches in sso mode as well as stacked 9300 series, 3800 series and 3750 access layer switches. All uplinks are multigig port channel back to the VSS 6509 core switch.

Design and build distribution and access layer switches for a new building and expansion on existing office spacebuilding.

Configure and build datacenter switches (Nexus 9372TX, Nexus 5548) which includes L2/L3 vlans SVIs, ether-channel, vpcs and trunking.

Configure, troubleshoot and maintain L2L, AnyConnect vpn client using Cisco ASA 5500x series firewall.

Administration and Support of the enterprise Hub-Spoke DMVPN network connecting international sites.

Configure and troubleshoot IGP routing protocols EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, BGP.

Primary responsible for supporting the Enterprise Data Network of Medisys Healthcare System

Build, Install and configuration of routers & switches, support the MPLS and Metro Ethernet WAN infrastructure.

Implement switchport Layer2 security through 802.1x for radius authentication.

Provide support for the enterprise wireless network infrastructure using Aruba 6000 series
