In my role at TRIO fertility, I found my passion for reproductive health care. My passion is furthered by a relentless pursuit to positively endorse health promotion through what I view as essential pillars of success. These pillars are effective transfer of health information, inspiring clients’ interest in their health, delivering effective client-centered care and instilling a sense of self-worth among all clients. My career aspirations are centered on this personal philosophy. I am very ambitious to learn and excel in my chosen field. I started my academic journey in the field of nursing with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Ryerson University. I then completed a postgraduate certificate in Perinatal Health Nursing and Lactation Consulting through Conestoga College. Enthusiastic to continue my learning and professional development, I went on to complete my Master of Nursing in the Nurse Practitioner stream through Athabasca University. I am seeking a role in which I can continue to grow professionally, while making contributions that advance the field of reproductive health care and positively impacting the community.

In addition to my academic involvements, I have hands-on experience as an advanced practice provider in various settings managing infertility and preconception care. In addition, I have experience in many complementary roles including obstetrics, gynecology, sexual health and postpartum care. In my current role at Genesis Fertility I conduct new patient consults, follow ups, cycle monitoring, sonography, intrauterine insemination, and endometrial biopsies. I also lead the third party program and have developed policies and processes to ensure regulatory compliance. I gained additional leadership experience at Genesis Fertility through my involvement with accreditation, nursing management, quality improvement, patient outreach and operations management.
