Responsibilities
Be the smiling face that greet patients when they're walking thru the door. Gather their insurance info
when applicable and verify eligibility and collect their payments. Help them in filling out their paperwork
as needed. Manage inbound and outbound calls thru multiple lines. Direct patients to op rooms ask
and answered questions pertaining to their treatment before bringing in the doctors to dictate what
need to be done in this particular visits. Take notes and perform orthodontist treatment as prescribed.
Educate patients on how to care for their teeth while in treatment, listen and answer to any questions
they might have while helping them feel at ease during their orthodontic adjustment. Clean, disinfect
rooms according to OSHA guidelines. During downtime, I proceed to sterilize instruments, take inventory,
taking digital X-rays, process pictures and place them in patients hybrid files. Pour and trim impressions,
fabricate provisional appliances, get case ready for lab. Assist on onboarding and training new hires
when needed. Research and develop a better system to manage before and after pictures of patients. By
making them available both in papers and electronic. Some day I work as the floor coordinator, landing
a hand to coworkers when they need help. I perform a range of other duties as assigned and take on

My main duties there were to assist the doctor during dental procedures while making sure the patients
are calm during treatment. I developed and learned new set of skills on how to gain patients trust and
help them overcome their fears of dental work. I've performed many tasks, like taking x-rays, impressions
for dentures, crown. Updated and recorded patients health history and vital signs. Go over after care
instructions and answered to their questions or direct them to the right party to get their questions
