Assisted two professors in their respective research interests: 1) Prepared and helped publish manuscripts on diet and health outcomes using national survey (NHANES) data; 2) Conducted basic research studies among college-aged students on osteoporosis prevention; and 3) Assisted graduate students in research related to repeated taste exposures of fruits and vegetables among children in 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades.

Managed the LSU nutrition laboratory and equipment, including a full-size densitometer; with extensive knowledge of body composition assessment methods; certification as a certified DXA technologist.
