I have extensive experience in long term care from Unit manager to Assistant Director of nursing, Director of nursing and Nurse Consultant. I worked for Sava Senior care for over 7 years,working as Assistant Director of Nursing for 5 1/2 years at South Pointe and then Director of Nursing at Virginia Highlands for 1 1/2 years after that. I went on to work for the Native American clinic in Milwaukee and learned how to write and budget grants. I missed long term care and went back as a director of nursing and then to become a nurse consultant where I specialized in regulatory compliance, mock surveys and directed plans of care in both long term care and assisted living across the country. A very large part of this position was conducting RAC reviews related to MDS and billing. For the past 7 years I have specialized in MDS and Medicare billing working one on one with insurance case managers and ICD 10 coding as well. I am currently looking for a position that will allow me to stay closer to home with the possibility of
