After a 27-year hiatus from the workforce due to raising my children, running my household and continually working to overcome my disabilities due to a chronic illness, I am interested in returning to work as my disabilities will allow.
I volunteered in all of my childrens’ classrooms as a teacher’s assistant, chaperone and art teacher. I also volunteered for Summer Vacation Bible School instruction and assistance. I also participate In Alzheimer’s Association fundraisers.

Duties included but were not limited to being responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable for the FBI St Louis, MO office. Participated in launching a brand new accounting system created for the FBI in 1991, requiring extensive introductory training at Quantico, VA. Responsible for keeping accurate accounts for both outside vendors and inside expenses. The cash box was kept locked in a safe entrusted to me. Helped take rotations covering the Front Desk as needed being the first person of contact into the FBI office. Courteously and professionally greeted visitors and quickly assessed their purpose for entering the office. Answered and screened incoming calls as needed, directing calls to the appropriate person or department. Created files using data entry programs specific to Federal formats. Attended and helped organize social events sponsored by the St. Louis FBI or for the FBI.
After moving to California in 1994, and transferring to the Sacramento FBI office in 1995, assisted with FBI data entry.

Multitasking answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately, sorting daily mail, filing clients’ correspondence and policies, data entry of proposals, photocopying and collating proposals, as well as faxing client proposals for the Sales Representatives. Responsible for keeping the Conference Room and Break Room stocked and tidy, tracking office supplies and requesting reorders, as well as performing any other duties asked of me by the secretaries or sales representatives.

Performed customer service duties which included but was not limited to problem-solving with store patrons as well as staff. Processed returned merchandise and diplomatically resolved any Returns issues. Received and verified new stock weekly and assigned its distribution onto the sales floor. Creatively arranged new merchandise and holiday displays for better sales revenues. Opened the store, performed the morning stock and cash inventory reports, and prepared the morning cash registers. Closed the store, counted and cleared the cash registers, reported all sales, returns, and new inventory for the company’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Responsible for depositing all money into the safe.
