Check to make sure all ingredients are there and also that the ingredients are the correct ones for the batch I am making. Weigh ingredients to make sure I am putting the correct amount into each batch. Test each batch after it is done being made to make sure all specs for that batch and flavor are correct. Also have each batch approved by quality. Do all flavor changes/ change overs correctly. And inform all other workers on my line when a change over is being done. Changed the foil to match the color and style of the stick i was making and made sure it didn't run out. > Batch Mixer: Was responsible for making the batches and mixing all the correct ingredients and amount of ingredients to make butter. everyday i came in and checked the paperwork to see what orders i had for the day. And what all ingredients I needed to use for the day. Ordered all ingredients then checked to make sure they where correct and had enough for the day. Then went to check to see where the person before me left off so i could finish or if i was starting a new batch. Once done i had to take a sample to QC and get it approved. then i sent the product over to the production tank once approved.
> Team Leader: Supervised over an area of six machines, two tanks, and three to four people daily. Made sure the area was ran smoothly and correct during my shift. Made sure all employees including myself kept up with their hourly paper work. Help my co-workers to solve and fix issues if and when they appeared. Watched tanks to make sure they didn't run out of product or get to hot or cold which would cause the product to come out either to hard or soft an have to be thrown out. Also had to keep in contact with the lab and mixer’s daily to make sure product was ready and also the correct product and ingredients for what I had to run for the day. I also had to watch the tanks to make sure the product didn't run out and when it got low I brought more over from the mix floor. Help co-workers with their change overs of product, boxes, paper, and code dates. Gave a report of all the things that went wrong during my shift in my area and explain to them all the down time we had. Me and my team came in early every Sunday night to start up machines and prepare them for the week. Also at the end of the shift on Friday or Saturday me and my team shut down, clean the machines and tanks and took metal parts and hoses off machines and tanks to get them ready for sanitation to come in and clean.
