OBJECTIVE

My name is Robert Pico and Im in the Electrical Program at SJVC,I retired from Civil Service after 35 years working for the US Navy at Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook in the Public Works Department (NAVFAC) as a Maintenance Worker but always wanted to further my knowledge as a electrician, because I have a strong mechanical background,I always wanted to equal my electrical knowledge as well.To be a great asset to any company.

Maintenance Worker

●I perform various tasks necessary to fabricate,assemble,install,overhaul,test,troubleshoot,electrical motors and equipment.

●I install all types of conduit Rigid,EMT,IMC,junction boxes and power panels,I also install and connect wires in accordance with verbal or written direction from supervisor.

●I troubleshoot fluorescent light fixtures,install new ballasts or light bulbs when applicable,remove or replace broken electrical outlets,light switches and low voltage connections,using such equipment as an ohmmeter, voltage testers,and tracing meters.

●I have also installed wall heaters,exhaust fan motors,water heaters,garbage disposals,drinking fountains,and a multitude of other fixtures.

●I performed all aspects of plumbing,installing toilets,sinks,urinals,valves,new plumbing in buildings,sprinkers
