As the Executive Director of a private nonprofit psychiatric treatment facility for children and their families, I have the general charge, oversight and direction of the affairs and business of the agency. I am the managing Director. Primary Responsibilities:
* The employment and discharge of staff.
* The development of program policies and procedures.
* Report to and consult with the Board of Directors on problems and concerns related to the total program, and appraise and interpret to the Board ongoing program needs and activities.
* Develop and execute sound multi-disciplinary treatment programs.
* Provide regular performance evaluations of all Program Directors.
* Develop and recommend policies and procedures.
* Develop annual budgets and maintain budgetary controls over all organizational finances including the selection and provision of staff benefits.
* Identify, coordinate and maintain funding sources for all programs including Governmental contracts and grants, private foundations, and community donations and support.
* Assure the maintenance of records necessary to meet local, State and Federal requirements.
* Interpret the agency's mission to the community and maintain good community relations.
* Chair the Quality Assurance committee, producing quarterly and annual reports as to program evaluation and quality improvement.
* Develop short and long-term organization goals with staff, Board of Directors and community representatives.

* Interpret and apply Personnel Relations Law, Personnel Division Rules, Policies and Procedures, Administrative Rules, DHR Policies and Procedures pertaining to personnel functions.

* Reconcile monthly Personnel Division reports with PICS reports, assuring proper budget authorization and cost center for each position.
