Trident Military Systems – Mesa, AZ

Responsible for advanced engineering efforts leading to the successful development and integration of live, virtual and constructive distributed simulation and training systems in support of the F-16. Integrated customer contractual needs and requirements and provided solutions that meet customer expectations as well as the technical, schedule and cost constraints. Also performed software engineering duties in support of the F-16 TSSC. Windows O/S, VxWorks and Sun Solaris systems employed.

CymSTAR Services LLC / Proactive Technologies Inc. – Tucson, AZ

Lead a small team of Lockheed Martin software engineers to design and implement enhancements for 7 software CIs over a period of 7 years which resulted in a virtually error free system. Code was a combination of C++ plus some legacy C code on a UNIX based platform employing an Oracle database.

Collaborated as part of a team that delivered a common code base Consolidated Planning Tool combining three different tools into one for a 24 x 7 distributed UNIX platform in support of a large mission planning system. Tools were C based and employed the Sybase database.

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space – Sunnyvale, CA

Lead a team of software developers to produce a set of software tools used for monitoring and control of the NASA/JPL Spitzer telescope. Was instrumental in producing the design documents for 16 tools. Tools were constructed in C, MATLAB and Perl.

Senior Software Engineer

May 1999 to January 2001

Raytheon Data Systems – Englewood, CO

Collaborated with a small group of software engineers to combine the telemetry FORTRAN software for two NASA NOAA programs into one code base to serve both satellites thus reducing the overall code base. I adapted two C programs to interface with a windows based system to provide spacecraft statistics reporting.
