Relevant Skills and Experience

During my internship at Kindred Hospital in Tampa, FL, I demonstrated contribution, teamwork and active participation in group settings. I performed the Nutrition Care Process and practiced nutrition language for people of different ages and health conditions. I used effective counseling and education skills to enable behavior change, and demonstrated cultural sensitivity and competence in interaction with colleagues, clients and staff. I conducted and posted daily patient assessments for all incoming clients. I conducted daily walkthroughs by talking with patients by emulating great customer service and follow ups. During my internship with Meals on Wheels in Zephyrhills, Fl, I helped prepare over 115 nutrition meals for homebound clients throughout the Dade City and Zephyrhills area. I packed, sanitized, stored tote bags to be carried to clients.

During my military career with the US Army, I provided guidance and oversight to 2,000 Soldiers. I supervised, planned, coordinated and executed logistical support, supply, maintenance, transportation, contract administration and engineering operations. Unflappable in crisis, I was routinely selected to address difficult challenges. As staff Coordinator, I integrated and synchronized daily efforts with multiple support agencies in order to resolve issues with ease.
