Assisted driller with all daily drilling activities, handling rods, making connections,tripping in and out, rig movements, rig repairs, case setting/removal, collected samples, water runs, prep of drill pads / location, sump prep,company crew vehicle maintenance, off road vehicle personal transport repairs, insured vehicles and drill rig were properly maintained/fueled,lubed,greased and in good working order, house keeping of job location at all times,cleaned and checked all hand tools repaired when possible, logged all consumable materials used, performed grinding,torch cutting and welding tasks when needed, to sum it all up i basically would do everything that the driller didn't want to do. My job was to see to it that my driller didn't have to do anything other then move drill levers to work the drill. Drillers Assistant
