Projects Summary:

1. AU SingleTouch Payroll phase 2 Duration: July 2020– November 2021

Role: Technical Lead Location: Bangalore, IN.

Responsibilities / Deliverables:

The key changes between the pay event 2018 and 2020 services are:

- Income Stream Collection :all remuneration must be reported by Income Type/Country Codes and the remuneration must be disaggregated into separately itemized components

- Country Codes : some Income Types must now be reported by the Country Code for the foreign country related to the reported income

- Disaggregation of Gross :remuneration is now to be reported as separately itemized components (Payment Types) that have a common definition, rather than a specific definition per Income Type

-Tax File Number Declaration Forms : the current employment and withholding data for the payee must now be included in every pay event and will mean a payer has met their obligation to send Tax File Number Declaration details to the ATO

- Employment Separation Certificates :reporting the type of cessation reason that ended the employment or engagement relationship between the payee and the payer.

-Tax Treatment Codes :a new mandatory field must now be included in every pay event that will indicate the PAYGW tax scales and other components that have been applied by the payer to determine payee withholding amounts

- Child Support Garnishees and Child Support Deductions : include the Child Support Garnishees and Child Support Deductions that the payer has been instructed to deduct from the payee

- Lump Sum E Letters :each financial year relevant to the lump sum E amount paid must now be included in the pay event

-New Income Types : new income types have been introduced from 1 July 2020 to allow a payer to advise of potential reporting concessions and/or IITR concessions.

Gathering requirements and create design documents according to the ATO (Australian Tax Office) legal requirements.

Responsibilities / Deliverables:

JD Edwards now provides a way to monitor for lock-in letter compliance. When a lock-in letter is received from the IRS for an employee, you are obligated to ignore any W-4 information requested by the employee if it would result in lower federal tax withholding. An orchestration evaluates the filing status and number of exemptions for employees flagged as having a lock-in letter and sends notifications for any non-compliance.

Responsible for requirements gathering, providing effort estimation & latest tools feature implementation analysis.

Develop Orchestrations and Notifications using the Oracle JD Edwards E1 Orchestrator Development tools.

3.Abitlity to Reset Single Payment from a Payroll Run Duration: Jan 2018 – Jul 2018

Role: Technical Developer Location: Bangalore, IN.

Responsibilities / Deliverables:

The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll system has been enhanced to provide more granularity in resetting payments in a payroll run. Payroll professionals now can reset a single payment from a payroll run. Previously the system was limited to resetting the entire payroll run or resetting all payments for an individual. Now a specific payment for a specific employee can be reset without impacting the payroll run or the employees’ other payments.

Gathering requirements, design and develop with the Oracle JD Edwards E1 Development toolset and related technologies.

Pproviding effort estimation & current system gap analysis.

3. NFe Email Response Capability Duration: Dec 2016–Sep 2017

Role: Technical Developer Location: Bangalore, IN.

Responsibilities / Deliverables:

EnterpriseOne shall have the capability to e-mail notification and NFe to customer after the Government has approved or cancelled NFe.

According to the Brazilian Government companies must send the XML file related to all nota fiscals issued against their customers, carriers and suppliers. This enhancement is requesting solution to provide ability to email XML document to NF-e customers after the Government has approved or cancelled the NFe and the XML has been delivered back to originator.

The request is based on the following Government Adjustment I - for the 7th clause under the SINIER 11 Adjustment, published on 10/01/2008 by the Brazilian Government.

The company issues a nota fiscal and sends the XML to the Government for approval. Response is returned back to the originating company. The enhancement request is to provide an email back to the customer with the Government response.

The company needs to notify customer with email and NFe after response from Government is received and response uploaded to E1.

The email contains the Government response and the NFe

- Email notification when response is canceled or accepted.

- Email contains message of the NFe status, NFe XML and NFe PDF

Responsible for Requirements gathering, providing effort estimation & current system gap analysis.

Coordinate with the project teams as part of Scrum meetings and provide inputs to project team involving development team, Project Coordinator and testing team to resolve outstanding issues, or any requirements gaps, or changes in any requirements during the lifecycle of project.

Responsibilities / Deliverables:

The purpose of this enhancement is to localize the Voucher Match Automation UBEs R4304016, R4304020 and R4304021 for Brazil, to do that, the behavior currently in place for the interactive voucher match process (P4314) will be replicated. The interactive process currently uses not only the application P&P but also the Matching Master BSFN and the A/Spymaster BSFN to complete the transaction. Since the entire Brazilian localization is performed by the already in place Master Business Function logic, the only change required is to set an error when validation fails, since the current validation never reach the UBE logic and the UBE is not stopped by the localization validation error.

4.LOC China JINSUI Bank Name Enhancement Duration : August 2011 – Nov 2011

Project Brief Description: The Project was meant for bank name enhancement from 20 digits to 50 digits in the China localization. This enhancement required creation of new set up application and tag file table for maintaining new 50 digit bank account number. Existing applications were altered, and corresponding table was converted using the TC program. The Chinese bank text file format was also altered to accommodate the changes.

Project Brief Description: In Mexico when you pay professional services (as example consultants services) the companies must withheld tax for each payment made to the supplier. This project is designed to support two types of withholding concepts in Mexico-VAT and Income. Setup applications and tables were created to define these WH concepts. Localization specific logic was done at voucher entry level and Automatic payment and Manual payments were used for WH payments. New Localization applications and NER logics were created for this purpose.
