I was Military Intelligence upon entry in the service and maintained a top secret security clearance. My specialty wasn’t used while we were on base in the Battalion, but only when we were in the field. When we were on base, i was working as the clerk in the Headquarters office. I also was the Commander’s driver to the field and was responsible for the vehicle maintenance on the vehicle and that is where my interest started in the different vehicles because of being around so many vehicles in the maintenance pool yard.
