MAJOR PROJECTS

• Driver Drowsiness Detection System (2020-21)

This project aimed to reduce the road accidents caused by driver drowsiness conditions. In the project we built a system using Python, OpenCV, and Keras which alerts the driver when he feels sleepy. We used OpenCV for gathering the images from webcam and fed them into a Deep Learning model which will classify whether the person’s eyes are ‘Open’ or ‘Closed.’ In this project when the eyes were closed the counter used to increase and as soon as eye is opened counter decreases. If the counter value reached the count of 15 then the alarm would ring and the driver is alerted

• Heart Disease Prediction Using Machine Learning Algorithms (2020-21) In the project we collected dataset from UCI machine learning repository and Kaggle. Further, we conducted Exploratory Data Analysis and plotted graphs using matplotlib, seaborn. Then, different machine learning algorithms were applied on it. Finally, we analyzed each algorithm in terms of their training and testing accuracy RESEARCH & PUBLICATION

● Published a research paper in International Journal of Innovative Research in Technology (IJIRT) entitled “Driver Drowsiness Detection System” (Paper ID - IJIRT 152465, 2021). The paper focused on a solution for avoiding or minimizing the accidents rates caused by the drowsiness or fatigue of the drivers

● Conducted research on the “Patent Claim Eligibility Prediction Using Text Mining Techniques” and presented a seminar for the same in the year 2020
