Professional Engineer as Project Manager, experience in leading and directing pipeline projects, equipment and structures installation, from inception to completion. Within my work experience I have worked as a project engineer too, supervising construction activity in oil and gas processing plants, in the construction of new pipes, installation of process equipment, installation of gas and oil separators, control valves, manufacture and installation of pig traps, etc. Supervision of the application of anticorrosive coatings in equipment and pipes, all according to engineering specifications, quality control and customer requirements. I have experience in offshore and onshore work in the oil and gas industry.

While at Global Offshore México a Technip s Company I managed the construction of two oil pipelines of 16”Ø in offshore, one of 9.2 km and one of 8.6 km.

I managed the project resources to ensure the expected profit or budgets and deadlines, as required by the customer specifications. I led regularly scheduled staff meetings with operations to review project progress, status of procurement, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning. I directed weekly status update meetings with the client to addressed project needs, project execution plans, schedules, cost estimates, and risk registers.

07/2009 to 08/2010 Project Manager

Icacsa Construcciones Minatitlán, Veracruz.

My responsibilities as a Project Manager at TMDB (Petrochemical Base of Pemex in Dos Bocas Tabasco) encompassed coordination of maintenance and facilities jobs for Pemex and in the construction of gas pipeline of 8ӯ x 14 km at Cardenas Tabasco for Pemex as well. This project was a budget of $30 MMMXP.

I held weekly meetings with the client to review the progress of the project from the stage of procurement, fabrication and installation.

03/2004 to 05/2009 Project Manager

Global Offshore México Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, México.

I worked as a Project Manager in Global Offshore México, during the various pipeline construction projects; pipelines were built from 8” to 36” of diameter, the most successful was the 36 " diameter, where we achieved a higher profit than expected, about 17% additional. The budget of this line was 120 MMUSD.

From 2007 to 2009, I supported to the Global Bid’s Department on the preparation of maintenance and pipe lay projects for PEMEX.

From 2001 to 2003, as a Project Engineer, I assisted the Project Manager, my primary activities were reviewing the project status on the structural and spools fabrications at the yard, status of the project material (permanent and consumables) during procurement stage and then, ensure timely sent to the derrick barge at offshore. Review the subcontractors report and estimations.

From 1996 to 2001 I was a Field Engineer onboard of the Derrick Lay Barge as Global’s representative. My role there was to work together with the superintendent of the barge to coordinate the construction of the pipeline and interconnections in platform.

My career start here and my role was working as security supervisor at platform, achieving deploy personnel appropriately used their personal protective equipment.

During my early years, I handle tools for placing fire hoses, small pneumatic pipes and mechanical spare parts for compressors.
