WALMART 7/2018 TO PRESENT

I started as a door greeter, and moved quickly to a position that the store manager created just for me. I stocked several different departments, including infants, pets, hardware, sporting goods, etc. An opening became available in the Fresh Department (meat and produce) and I was chosen for it. Another position as Asset Protection Associate became available, and after applying, I was also chosen for it. I was given training at other stores, and have been at mine since completion of training. My duties include asset protection, protecting customers and associates, and safety inside and outside of the store. I monitor video and customers and apprehend shoplifters and work closely with law enforcement. I gather evidence for cases (verbal and video) that are used in court proceedings to convict shoplifters. I conduct monthly safety equipment exams of all doors, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, warning alarms, and other items. I am involved in the front of store cash management, examining cash discrepancies and cash handling techniques. I am also in charge of MPP (merchandise protection plan), including PIN sensors, Spiderwire, and security cabinets. SELF EMPLOYED DOING LAWN AND TREE MAINTENANCE- 2016 TO 2018 In December of 2016, Pampa went through a devastating ice storm, and for a few months, I cut and cleared trees and limbs that had fallen on power lines. In doing this I realized the great need of an economical tree service in our community. I continued to cut down and clear trees as well as maintain lawns for the community until I was hired at Walmart.

DRIVER-PLAINS ALL-AMERICAN PIPELINE- 11/2012 TO 5/2016 I drove statewide to different oil leases, where I would test and gauge crude oil, load my tanker and then drive and offload at a designated location. M<y duties also included maintaining a logbook, using a company on-board computer, filling out and submitting weekly reports, and attending and completing monthly safety tests.
